Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have reportedly tied the knot, with their long-awaited wedding said to have taken place at the iconic Madison Square Garden.

The lavish ceremony is already being described as one of the biggest celebrity events of the year.

The star-studded celebration reportedly came with serious consequences for some people working behind the scenes.

According to reports, several Madison Square Garden employees lost their jobs after allegedly breaching strict non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) put in place to protect the privacy of the high-profile ceremony.

Bloomberg News reporter Myles Miller also quoted a report by TMZ, revealing that security at the event was exceptionally tight.

"I'm told The Garden has parted ways with staff members for violations of NDAs associated with Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding," Miller wrote on X. "Everyone entering, including law enforcement, has to store their phone in a bag. No one has been allowed to enter the arena before the wedding."

Despite the extensive security measures, several details from the ceremony still emerged.

Reports claimed actor Adam Sandler officiated the wedding and even performed an original song written especially for the newlyweds.

Travis' brother, Jason Kelce, reportedly served as best man, while Taylor's brother, Austin Swift, took on the role of man of honour. Jason and Kylie Kelce's daughters were said to have been flower girls.

The couple reportedly exchanged vows on Friday wearing custom Christian Dior outfits.

The ceremony also caused major disruptions around one of Manhattan's busiest districts as hundreds of invited guests, including celebrities and sports stars, arrived for what many described as the "wedding of the century".

The guest list resembled a major awards show or the Met Gala, featuring an impressive lineup of Hollywood, music and sports stars.

Among those reportedly in attendance were Brad Pitt and Ines de Ramon, Bradley Cooper and Gigi Hadid, Emma Stone, Selena Gomez, Ed Sheeran and Cherry Seaborn, Jessica Chastain, Dakota Johnson, Tate McRae, Benson Boone, Hugh Grant, Jason Sudeikis, Karlie Kloss, Camila Cabello, Machine Gun Kelly, Maren Morris, Ellie Goulding, Tommy Hilfiger and Barbara Corcoran.

The NFL was also well represented, with attendees reportedly including George Kittle, Matthew Stafford, Cooper Kupp, Mike Vrabel, Patrick Mahomes, Tom Brady, Julian Edelman, Richard Sherman and several other football personalities.

Taylor Swift's longtime publicist, Tree Paine, was also reportedly spotted in Manhattan as preparations concluded for one of the most talked-about celebrity weddings in recent memory.
