Mike Muchiri speaks out, days after wiping his social media clean

Popular content creator and digital influencer Mike Muchiri has finally spoken out, days after mysteriously deleting nearly all his posts across social media platforms.

In an emotional Instagram post, accompanied by a childhood photo, Muchiri reflected on his personal journey, stirring mixed reactions from netizens.

“For so long, I searched for the truth about life—only to realize that the truth was always inside me, waiting to be seen. The child I once was is still here. Still watching. Still waiting to see if I will be brave enough to chase the dreams I once believed in. That was the only truth I ever needed to face,” read part of his post.

He continued: “I will keep meeting my shadows with compassion. I will stop living from old wounds and start creating from wholeness. All of me—the hesitant, the bold, the broken, the healing, the unstoppable—is worthy of being seen. And if you are reading this, I hope you see yourself too.”

The post quickly attracted a flood of reactions, with many Kenyans showing love and support, including fellow creators and celebrities such as Esther Kazungu.

Content creator @murugimunyi commented, “Let’s goooooo!” while @gifted_by_grace wrote, “Sounds to me like you have been awakened. Only a few will understand, and I honestly love that for you. People often run away or hide their shadow selves, but you've finally faced them with love. I'm proud of you.”

However, some followers were left puzzled by his message.

@onjolo_kenya questioned, “Najua tuko wengi, sasa umesema?” (I know we are many, but what have you said?)

@mocle_ment humorously mimicked a popular meme, commenting, “What are you saying? What is he saying?”

Muchiri’s cryptic post comes after he shockingly wiped his social media clean, deleting all his well-loved comedy skits from Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. As of now, only three posts remain on his Instagram, all dated between February 16 and 18. Adding to the mystery, he has also changed his TikTok display name to a simple “Z!”
