Doctors from the Nakuru County Referral and Teaching Hospital have determined that TikToker Milly Wa Doc succumbed due to pregnancy-related complications.

The late TikToker passed away on Wednesday, June 3, leaving fans and family devastated.

In an interview on NTV, Dr James Waweru stated that the late TikToker was admitted to the hospital on May 26 after experiencing severe bleeding and complications related to her pregnancy, which was approximately six months along.

"She was admitted here on May 26 at around 3:30 pm as a referral from a private hospital. The issue at that time was heavy bleeding and pain. And a pregnancy that was around 6 months. She was fairly unstable when she came. So, she was stabilized, transfused, and then taken to the theatre at around 5 pm. Well, the surgery essentially was to remove the pregnancy, and of course, now stop the bleeding," the doctor said.

Nonetheless, things took a different turn after the surgery. Her health began to decline rapidly since her kidneys were failing.

"While in the ward, that is when we noticed the kidneys were not working well. She also had features of sepsis. Dialysis was done. We tried to change the antibiotics. But unfortunately, we lost her on June 3," Dr. Waweru said.

The Medical superintendent added that Milcah Nyatuga Murang’a, popularly known as Milly wa Doc had been admitted in the same hospital before due to pregnancy complications but opted to go home against medical advice.

"She had been admitted in early April due to the same issues of pregnancy, but she insisted on going home against medical advice. What happened between those two admissions, I don't know," he explained.

The family had initially reported that she had succumbed due to Acute Kidney failure.

The burial of the renowned TikToker is slated for June 13, even as the family urges fans to help raise funds for her send-off.
