Kamba Benga star Katombi gifts wife Sh3M Mercedes-Benz days after wedding

Kamba musician Alex Kasau Katombi surprised his new wife, Maggie, with a brand-new Mercedes-Benz GLA 45 AMG just days after their traditional wedding in Mbitini, Kitui County.

The gift came shortly after the couple celebrated their marriage in a colourful ceremony attended by family, friends and members of the local community.

Taking to social media, Katombi shared a photo of Maggie alongside the Obsidian Black car, captioning it gracefully. 

"You deserve the present new driver in town AMG 45," he wrote.

The GLA 45 is a high-performance compact SUV powered by a handcrafted 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine that delivers up to 382 horsepower, and up to 421 hp in the GLA 45 S variant, making it one of the most powerful production four-cylinder engines available.

Paired with an AMG Speedshift dual-clutch transmission and the AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel-drive system with selective torque control, it sprints from 0 to 100kph in roughly 4.3 seconds.

Some of its key features include sport-tuned adaptive suspension, dynamic drive modes, aggressive AMG body styling with quad exhaust tips, and a driver-focused cabin featuring supportive sport seats and the MBUX infotainment system

The gift came after a traditional wedding which closely followed Kamba customs, with elders blessing the couple.

The celebrations featured local food, including nyama choma, ugali and vegetables, as guests danced to local songs amid clapping and ululations.

Fans and followers congratulated the couple, with many praising the singer for the generous gift and wishing the newlyweds a blessed future.
