Buruburu woman captured on CCTV in chilling, repeated knife attack on partner

A Buruburu woman, whose 2024 knife attack on her partner went viral, has been filmed repeating the same violent act in 2025.

The chilling deja vu moment, now circulating widely on social media, shows the incident unfolding in the same living room, a cosy space with a grey sofa set, yellow throw pillows, matching curtains, and an orange carpet, a setting that belies the chaos within.

In the 2024 video, the woman, visibly enraged, charged at her partner multiple times while wielding a knife, attempting to stab him through a couch cushion he used to shield himself.

Remarkably, the man stayed calm throughout, prompting viewers to praise his restraint.

Fast forward to 2025, and the story repeats itself. In the new footage, the woman is seen forcefully barging into the home. As tensions rise, another woman in a black top attempts to lead her away, while a second woman in an orange hoodie quickly carries the couple's toddler to safety.

Ignoring pleas to stop, the aggressor storms into the kitchen, rummages through a cabinet, and grabs a knife. Her partner follows closely, seemingly trying to de-escalate the situation.

Fortunately, the woman in black intervenes just in time, wrestling the weapon from her before the confrontation turns deadly.

The reappearance of such scenes, separated by months, has fuelled outrage online. Many Kenyans have condemned the repeated violence, urging authorities to act and the husband to report the matter as spousal abuse.

The disturbing videos have also reignited discussions on the often-overlooked reality that women, too, can be perpetrators of domestic violence, and that children caught in such volatile homes face serious emotional and physical risks.

Elsewhere, Ugandan musician Weasel of the popular music group Radio and Weasel is nursing injuries after his wife allegedly ran him over at an entertainment spot in Uganda.

In a viral video, the musician's wife, Sandra Teta, driving a Mercedes Benz was seen hitting her husband before she sped off from the scene.

It is reported the incident happened after the couple were involved in a disagreement.
