A man in Dandora got himself in trouble after he allegedly caressed neighbour's daughter on the chest and hugged her mother against her will.
He, however, told the court that the teenagers mother had been seducing him and decided to fix him when he turned down her sexual overtures by bringing trumped up charges.
David Manda Sunguti, 28, a casual labourer is accused of unlawfully touching a 13-year-old girl at their home in Dandora Phase 1.
That day, the girl said she was going to pour dirty water in the communal toilet when she met the accused person who asked her if "she belonged to him".
Not knowing his intentions, the girl did not responded to him and instead left him standing and went to into the house to fetch more water. On returning, the girl found the accused having cleaned the toilet and he seemed to be waiting for her.
She said the man repeated the same question as before but the girl chose not to respond and that was when he attempted to block her from proceeding to her house. That was when he allegedly touched her on the breasts.
The minor informed her mother of her ordeal and the accused was questioned by the mother of the minor. During the interrogation, the man allegedly hugged the minor's mother without her consent.
They reported the matter to the police who arrested and arraigned Sunguti before Chief Magistrate Beatrice Kimemia.
"The teens mother is trying to fix me after I turned her down. The mother has always wanted me to be her partner," he said.
He was granted a bond of Sh300,000 with a similar surety.
