Internet personality Andrew Kibe has shared his thoughts on the recent separation of DJ Mo and his wife, gospel artist Size 8.

In a video posted on social media, Kibe offered DJ Mo two pieces of advice to help him move on from the split. He began by saying, "DJ Mo, if I were you, let me tell you what I would do."

Kibe's first suggestion was for DJ Mo to cut ties with those around him. "Block all those numbers, you must," Kibe advised. "Block her number, block all her friends' numbers, block all those pastors' numbers—including your mom, your sisters, and everyone who is female that is coming with that kind of energy."

Kibe then encouraged DJ Mo to shift his focus from gospel to secular music. "Alafu sasa utoke gospel uingie secular," Kibe said.

He explained that this change would help DJ Mo rebuild his career, saying, "Jifanye umechizi uanze kuingia hizi gigs za club. Wanakutaka. You're very marketable. Uende kutuchezea hizi mangoma zetu tunapenda. Wachana na gospel. Imeisha. Hiyo time imeisha. Saa hii ingia hiyo side ingine. Look at the clubs and how big they are. They are paying good money for good DJs. Brand yourself and come back bigger and better.”

On 1 August 2024, Size 8 surprised her followers by announcing the end of her 11-year marriage to DJ Mo.

In an Instagram story, she reflected on the challenges of marriage, saying, "Sometimes marriage works by God’s grace, and sometimes it does not, but all in all, God is still on the throne! I’ve been married for 11 years, and now I’m starting the journey of singlehood... but God is still on the throne. I worship you, Yahweh."

Despite the separation, Size 8 admitted that the decision was difficult for her.

"Before reaching this point, I considered every option available, and I want to make it clear that I don’t hate Mr Muraya. On the contrary, I love him dearly. If you were to cut my heart open, you’d find Mo mdogo right there," she said.

Size 8 also made it clear that she still believes in marriage and is open to reconciliation.

"Sometimes things work out, and other times they don’t. Right now, we are facing a bit of a crisis, but I’m open to reconciliation," she added.

She advised others to consider all options before choosing separation, saying, "Don’t be too quick to seek divorce. God is faithful. Reaching this decision was not easy for me, but I’m not bitter. I’m not ashamed to say I’m still very much in love with Mo, but right now, separation is the best path forward."
