Marion Naipei seeks forgiveness in emotional church return: 'Shida ilikuwa pombe'

Social media personality Marion Naipei has made an emotional return to church, publicly seeking forgiveness from congregants and Prophet Victor Kanyari.

In a video that has gone viral on social media, a visibly emotional Marion appeared before worshippers at Salvation Healing Ministry, where she openly acknowledged her past mistakes and pleaded for a second chance.

"Nimetenda mengi mabaya, nimeharibu jina ya Daddy," Marion confessed, admitting that her actions had negatively affected Prophet Kanyari's reputation.

The emotional moment unfolded as Marion recounted how church members had previously asked her to sit at the back of the sanctuary.

However, she said she could no longer suppress her desire to be fully accepted once again.

"Leo wamama wa kanisa nawaomba msamaha. Mimi nataka kurudi hapa mbele. Huku sio kwangu. Wamama wa kanisa mnaniruhusu? Mmenikubali kwa mara ya mwisho hadi natetemeka," she said.

Her heartfelt plea moved the congregation, prompting one of the elderly women in attendance to stand up and embrace her.

"Tunakupenda," the woman told Marion as worshippers erupted into cheers, signalling their support and acceptance.

The emotional reunion did not end there.

Turning her attention to Prophet Kanyari, whom she affectionately referred to as "Daddy", Marion thanked him for standing by her during some of her most difficult moments.

"Daddy naomba unikubali tena. Najua umenikubali mara nyingi juu unaamini nitabadilika. Kusema ukweli hata mimi naona nimebadilika," she said tearfully.

Marion also revealed that alcohol had been one of the biggest challenges in her life.

"Shida ilikuwa pombe. Kusema ukweli Daddy, shida yangu huwa pombe," she admitted candidly.

She went on to praise Kanyari for his continued support, saying he had helped her secure employment, sent her money for food and regularly checked on the welfare of her child.

"Hajawai kosa kunitumia. Anapigaga simu kuuliza kama mtoto ameenda shule na kama ako sawa. Hakuna kama huyu amenishikilia hata kuliko wazazi wangu. Daddy ubarikiwe," she said.

As the service continued, Marion also expressed support for Prophet Kanyari's political ambitions, voicing confidence in his bid for the Kasarani parliamentary seat.

"Hii kiti ni yako," she declared, drawing reactions from the congregation.
