The venue featured themed décor, with guests embracing the island-inspired dress code through a mix of formalwear and Pacific-inspired prints.
Organisers transformed the cinema into an impressive tropical setting, where the pre-screening programme featured photo sessions and interviews as families, sponsors, organisers and fans shared their excitement and anticipation for the film.

"Moana is a homegrown name. Now this is the live action. With the school holidays coming up, the timing is just perfect. We have lovable characters with very lively and beautiful songs. Partnering with Disney means a lot because we have brought a part of Motunui Island here to Kenya," said Trushna Buddhdev-Patel of Crimson Multimedia Limited.
At the venue, portraits of the film's main characters, palm fronds, woven mats and blue lighting brought an oceanic atmosphere to life, while Pacific-inspired rhythms blended with local traditional music, including a performance by Tarumbeta Africa Cultural drummers.

"Moana is a celebration of courage, discovery and the connections that guide us through every journey. For Visa cardholders, this exclusive screening offers the opportunity to be among the first in Kenya to experience the next chapter of Moana," said Sheila Changangu, Marketing Director at Visa.
Guests at the venue took turns snapping photos with film props and a replica of Moana's pendant, a much-needed accompaniment to the island-themed refreshments.

"I am so glad to be here with my family. My kids love Moana, and this opportunity is great for quality family time ahead of the school holidays," said Janice Sikawa, a mother of Grade 5 twins.
The film, a live action reimagining of Disney's 2016 animated hit bears visuals, an expanded story, deeper character development and richer exploration of Polynesian mythology.
It draws inspiration from the real world heritage, culture and geography of Polynesia, including Samoa, Tonga and Hawaii.
