Homa Bay Woman Rep Joyce Osogo, alias Bensouda, has left tongues wagging by exposing the sex escapades of female leaders in her county.

Sex scandals are not new to the ears of Kenyans. Most sex scandals are between married men and married women, married men and unmarried women, unmarried men and married women, and unmarried men and unmarried women.

In each of the above categories, men are mostly older than women, especially in a rural county like Homa Bay which Osogo represents.

However, according to Osogo, some female political leaders in Homa Bay County prefer sex with energetic men who are younger than them.

She adds that some leaders take advantage of their financial muscle to hire young men who lack stable income to have sex with them.

“The information I have is that some female leaders use money to hire young men to have sex with them. They take the young men to Kisumu where they book lodges for sex,” Osogo said.

Speaking at Oriang Primary School in Kabondo East Ward when she launched the distribution of 15,000 bales of sanitary pads to schools in the constituency, Osogo said some female leaders use public funds to hire young men.

“I want to advise Kabondo East MCA Alice Winga. Alice, do not use public funds which Governor Gladys Wanga gives you for services to the people of your ward to hire men for sex the way some female leaders are doing in this county,” Osogo said.

Osogo said it is wrong for a leader to claim that she is married yet she keeps moving with men she is not married to.

“Let female leaders be faithful to their husbands,” Osogo said.

She said female leaders should serve as role models to society.

“You cannot be a leader whose social aspect of life is dented yet you still want to be re-elected for your post or another political position,” she added.

Osogo described herself as an example of a political leader who is faithful.

“I am married to a pastor. I serve him well and I am always available for him,” Osogo said.

She warned young men in the county to be wary of female politicians who are out to use them.

“Be wary of leaders who are out to ruin your lives. They fund your trip to Kisumu, take you to a bar and then to a lodging,” she said.

The Woman Rep warned that the trend will ruin the lives of many young people.

“Let our young men be very careful. These leaders will infect you with HIV and break your marriages. Avoid them,” Osogo said.

Some young men in the area admitted that such affairs are rampant.

“A few months ago, I saw the nudes of a female politician from this county and a young man. This forced the leader to go underground for some time,” said Bright Omondi, a resident.

Osogo told residents to shun politicians who use propaganda to demonise her projects.

“There are people whom when I distribute water tanks, they say I have distributed water basins. When I give girls sanitary pads, they say I have given them sweets,” Osogo said.
