In a recent Instagram post that sent shockwaves through social media, Calvin Broadus, the legendary rapper known as Snoop Dogg, shared what initially seemed to be a momentous decision with his 82.5 million followers.

He declared, "After much consideration & conversation with my family, I’ve decided to give up smoke. Please respect my privacy at this time."

This unexpected revelation quickly became the focal point of speculation, with many assuming that Snoop Dogg was parting ways with his iconic weed-smoking lifestyle.

However, it turns out the announcement was not a personal transformation but rather a savvy move as part of an advertising campaign for a smokeless fire pit.

Addressing the confusion head-on in an advertisement, the hip-hop star stated, "I know what you're thinking: Snoop! Smoke is kind of your whole thing! But I'm done with it."

He elaborated on the reasons behind the supposed decision, highlighting issues such as persistent coughing and the lingering scent on his clothes.

Promoting a smoke-free alternative, he endorsed the Solo Stove fixed fire, noting, "They take out the smoke. Clever," seamlessly integrating his signature style with a new lifestyle product.

Despite the initial confusion, Snoop's social media followers weren't entirely taken aback, considering the rapper's longstanding association with marijuana.

In a 2013 interview with GQ magazine, adopting the name Snoop Lion, he disclosed his daily consumption of an astonishing 80 cannabis blunts.
