These directives have been informed by a drop in aflatoxin compliance levels among millers with data from Kebs showing the figure at 62.2 per cent in May 2024.
CS Linturi said the new facility was aimed at ensuring that the food people consume is free of aflatoxin, to stem chances of cancer.
’The primary goals of the project are to raise awareness among dairy farmers and consumers about aflatoxin.
