An NBC interview took a dramatic turn on Sunday, June 7, when US President Donald Trump angrily stormed off the set.

His abrupt departure followed a tense exchange where he was confronted by the "Meet the Press" host over his unsupported claims of fraud in the 2020 election.

"You're a one-sided, crooked network. Sorry. Let's call it quits because I've had enough. Thank you, darling. Have a good time," President Trump said.

He then stood up and walked out of the interview, followed closely by interviewer Kristen Welker.

According to Euronews, the high-stakes interview took place at a Wisconsin farm where Donald Trump was speaking to local agricultural workers and farmers.

The rural setting featured a backdrop of a tractor and hay bales.

However, the broadcast session faced multiple disruptions due to severe weather and sound problems before the walkout.

Heavy downpours hammered the roof of the structure and frequently drowned out the conversation between the president and the journalist.

This latest incident is part of a pattern, as it is not the first time President Trump has lashed out at journalists on air.

Back in November 2025, he shut down Bloomberg reporter Catherine Lucey, telling her, "Quiet. Quiet, piggy."

He also dismissed White House reporter Akayla Gardner just a month ago as "a dumb person" when she pointed out that the projected cost of his White House ballroom had doubled since its unveiling.

Prior to that, in December 2025, Donald Trump referred to ABC’s Rachel Scott as "the most obnoxious reporter in the whole place." This latest televised outburst has already sparked a wave of varied reactions from social media users.
