Millie Bobby Brown denies rumors of being bullied by David Harbour

Stranger Things tar Millie Bobby Brown has dismissed claims that she was bullied by her co-star David Harbour, confirming that the pair share a strong bond.

Brown, who plays Eleven, described her relationship with Harbour, who portrays her on-screen father, Jim Hopper, as particularly close, having worked together since she was a child.

In an interview with Deadline, Brown addressed the harassment speculation, saying, “Of course, I felt safe. We have been working together for ten years. I feel safe with everyone on that set. I mean, we have been working for so long and even play father and daughter.”

She added, “We have worked on really intense scenes, like in season two. You naturally have a closer bond with each other.”

The clarification comes after TMZ reported that the ‘Enola Holmes’ actress had allegedly filed a bullying and harassment complaint against Harbour before filming the final season of the hit science fiction series.

The rumours quickly spread on social media, but series executive producer Shawn Levy dismissed the report as “wildly inaccurate,” assuring fans that the filming environment was never unsafe.

Brown has previously spoken highly of Harbour.

During the premiere of the final season in Los Angeles, the cast reunited to celebrate the end of an era, with Brown and Harbour appearing in clips, smiling and posing together.

Fans reacted positively to Brown’s interview. Andrea on TikTok wrote, “She loves David, like he would be her father, she mentioned before.”

Ghost Girl added, “So happy that was false about the lawsuit.”

Adriana on X commented, “The rumours were fake, thank God, and this is them proving that.” Another fan, Khusi, wrote, “End of an era energy hitting different.”

The horror series Stranger Things, which ran for five seasons, premiered in 2016 and concluded in 2025.
