Wema Sepetu, Whozu welcome baby boy after years of waiting

Popular Tanzanian singer, songwriter and entertainer Whozu and former Miss Tanzania 2006 Wema Sepetu have announced the birth of their baby boy, sharing the first glimpse of their newborn with fans on social media.

The joyous announcement has been widely celebrated across Tanzania and beyond, particularly because it marks a significant milestone in Wema Sepetu’s life after years of publicly speaking about her desire to become a mother.

The actress and entrepreneur has welcomed her first child after more than a decade of hoping and praying for motherhood, making the arrival of her son a deeply emotional moment for her family and supporters.

Sharing his excitement, Whozu posted a heartfelt message congratulating Wema and reflecting on what he described as God's power and grace.

"Sio kua tu wazuri sana mbele zake lakini illimpendeza aonyeshe ukuu wake kwenye uso wa dunia kua makadirio ya wanadamu hayawezi kushinda kudra zake.Hakika mungu amejishiirisha na kutupa kibali," he wrote.

The singer also expressed gratitude to everyone who had kept them in their prayers throughout the journey.

"Hongera shunu wangu ahsanteni sana nyote mliokuwa mkituombea ,mungu yupo na wanaomtumaini tusikose kukesha tukiomba maana yeye ni mwenye huruma siku zote," he added.
The announcement sparked an outpouring of congratulatory messages from fans, friends and fellow celebrities.

Radio presenter Mwende Macharia wrote, "Nothing is impossible before God."

Diamond Platnumz's mother, Mama Dangote, commented, "Mungu ni mwema mama akee" (God is good, dear mother).

Gospel singer Kambua also joined in the celebrations, writing, "Congratulations beautiful mama. God is good and He is never late."

Social media personality Nana Dollz added, "Mashallah, Mashallah, it's a boy."

The couple's announcement has been met with overwhelming love, as fans celebrate what many have described as a testimony of patience, faith and answered prayers.
